Many accommodation options are located in the historic center and are either within walking distance or a few kilometeres from the venue and the city centre.

WEATHER- CLIMATE
Typical Mediterranean with warm summers, mild winters and an annual average of 300 days of sunshine, the climate is yet another one of the advantages the city offers to the visitors. TRANSPORTATION
Thessaloniki is easily reached by direct international flight connections, including major cities around the world and lots of daily connecting flights to Athens.
Transit bus service is provided between the Airport and the city of Thessaloniki, with connections to the Central Railway Station and the “Makedonia” Regional Coach Terminal (KTEL).
Bus service runs every 30 minutes and the journey to the city center takes about 40 – 50 minutes.

Taxi companies operate 24-hour call centers, ready to receive your order or make an advance booking for you. Most taxis currently use satellite navigator systems that facilitate a fast and easy transfer to any destination in the city. Luxury-VIP taxis are also available.

- As a rough guide a taxi within the city will cost approximately 5 Euros
- A taxi to the airport will cost between 20 –30 Euros
- A double fare is applicable between midnight and 05:00 am
